I can now boot up the launcher again, but I still can't log into my account and keep getting the "Sorry!" error again. When I did this, I tested to see if I could log in on that computer and I actually could! I'm using the same internet connection between the two of them, and I'm definitely using the correct password, so I don't know what the exact problem is here. I wasn't even able to open the launcher without first installing Minecraft on a different computer, then moving the files to my gaming PC via USB. None of these fixed the problem, and at some point the install completely broke. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times after that, then deleting the HOST file in drivers (detailed as a fix in a video on YouTube), and changing to the Beta launcher (first result when I Googled the issue). After that, I started getting the message "Sorry! Make sure you are online and try again" though I don't remember the exact timing of it. I've been having issues with logging into my account for a while now, it started when Curseforge switched over from the Twitch launcher. (#spoiler) = neat!
